The Old Town of Putnam

History

The area was first explored in 1605. The town of Washington, incorporated as
Putnam on February 27th, 1811, was changed to Washington on January 31st, 1823.

Features

Washington Lies Inland at the Intersection of Highways #105 & #220. It includes a beautiful lake called Washington Pond. Smaller communities within it's orbit are West Washington, Burketville, Stickney Corners, and Razorville
